Funding Pattern: 100% Central Govt.

Objective: To recommend works of developmental nature with emphasize on the creation of durable community assets, based on locally felt needs to be taken by MPs in their constituencies.

Entitlement: Rs.5.00 Crores per MP per annum.

Priority works: Drinking water, Primary Education, Public Health, Sanitation and Roads, etc. as per permissible works.

Fund flow: The Project Management UNIT UNDER MPLADS Divison (PMU-MPLADS) of Minister of Statistics and Programme Implementation has been designated as Central Nodal Agency for implementation of the Scheme. The actual fund shall only be with Central Nodal Account and fund will be directly credited to vendor’s account as and when the demands are raised electronically. The Ministry has now released the revised guidelines on MPLADS and a revised procedure for New Fund Flow Procedure is to be adopted 01.04.2023. As per sanctioned works of MPs 22.5% expenditure on SC habited area is mandatory. Rs. 50 Lakhs permitted for trust/ Societies, Rs. 10 Lakhs for Differently abled welfare works in a Financial Year
