Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin (SBM-G)
The Government of India, Ministry of Jal Shakti has approved SBM-G Phase-II which is being implemented from 2020-21 to 2024-25. The key objective of SBM-G Phase-II to sustain the ODF status of Villages and improve the levels of cleanliness in rural areas through solid and liquid waste management activities, making villages ODF Plus.

Individual Household Latrines (IHHL) | The incentive of Rs.12,000/- for the construction of IHHL will be continued to the new eligible households | ||||||||
Community Sanitary Complex (CSC) | Rs.3 lakh per CSC will be provided to the GPs for construction of CSCs at village level. 30% of this amount will be borne by the GPs from their 15th Finance Commission grants, and remaining 70% from SBM-G Phase-II funds in the ratio of 60:40 (Centre and State). O&M of such complexes will be the responsibility of the GPs. | ||||||||
