Funds Provision

• 100% State funded scheme
• Rs.2.00 crore is provided to each constituency for the development works identified by the Hon’ble MLAs in their constituency as per State Govt. decision dated 26.12.2018:
  • Rs. 2.00 Cr.: Village having population more than 10,000
  • Rs. 1.00 Cr.: Village having population more than 5,000 and upto 10,000
  • Rs. 0.50 Cr.: Village having population upto 5,000
• 5% (Rs.10.00 lacs) of the total amount should be spent on following activities:-
  1. Rain water harvesting like cleaning and digging of soak pits and ponds.
  2. Activities to reduce local pollution of air, water and land.
  3. Solid and liquid waste management.

• Now Hon’ble MLAs can recommend works in their respective municipal areas (Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council, Municipal Committee) apart from those of rural areas.
• Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district is the Nodal Officer of the Scheme.
